Bur Dubai sits across the water from Deira. Al Fahidi’s lanes are pretty; the residential streets behind Meena Bazaar are practical. BurJuman is the interchange mall.
Good first-month base if you want metro and cheap food without living in a villa community that needs a 40-minute drive to buy milk.
