Satwa is old Dubai that never became a mall. Excellent cheap eats, awkward parking, mixed building quality. Closer to DIFC than it looks on a tourist map.
Useful if you work Trade Centre / Downtown and refuse Marina rent. Less useful if you want a gym tower and a pool.
Rehearsal for construction and one-way traps. Walk it at 22:00 before you pay a deposit.
