Egyptian ordinary passports need a visit visa arranged in advance. Egypt is not in the June 2026 on-arrival set (India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Kenya, South Africa — and only with a third-country residence permit).
Arabic is an advantage in government-facing and some mainland work. English is enough in a lot of private offices. The employer still files. Do not pay a Cairo page for a ‘free visa’.
Family follow-on is a separate residence filing with a published salary floor on ICP / u.ae. Confirm it before you book five tickets.
