A Dubai job from India is still an employer-sponsored work permit, not a ‘visit and convert’ product you buy in Kochi or Hyderabad. Attest the degree (HRD → MEA → UAE embassy) if the offer asks. A PCC has an expiry; do not get one six months early and hope. Cabin crew, nurses, teachers and engineers add extra licences on top.
Rupees move; the dirham does not. Divide AED by 3.67 for dollars, then to INR at the day’s rate. A mid office salary that sounded huge in rupees is a JVC studio, not Downtown. Indian grocery is everywhere — Karama, International City, Al Nahda — so food is not the shock. School fees and summer DEWA are.
Do not pay a Mumbai or Dubai ‘visa agent’ who wants Western Union. Emirates Group, hospitals and schools hire on their own sites. Fly on the visa type printed on the entry, not on a WhatsApp promise.
