Russian passports are visa-free for a visit of about 90 days. Cards and SWIFT are the part people underestimate.

Russian passports sit on the 90-day visa-free visit list (ICP categories as compiled 27 June 2026). That is not a job. The company files the work permit. Overstay is AED 50 a day.
Plan cash and a working card for the first week. Some networks and some UAE banks are fussier than the immigration counter. Open a local account once residence exists, with the passport and the visa HR named — not a promise on Telegram.
There is a real Russian-speaking market in JLT, Marina and Business Bay. That is not a shortcut around attestation or medical. Confirm the live ICP list before you fly. See visa by nationality.
