DMCC
Dubai Multi Commodities Centre
Commodities, trading, services, and a lot of ‘we need a respected licence’.
- Office
- Flexi desk up to Almas / JLT towers
- Visas
- Package-based; extras billed
- Year-one feel
- Often AED 35–55k+ in year one, depending on activity and space
DMCC sits in JLT and still carries the most recognition among banks and counterparties for trading houses. The activity list is wide: metals, agri, energy, professional services, tech, and (separately regulated) crypto-asset support. People pick it when the cheap zone’s licence will not clear a compliance desk.
You are not required to trade gold. Plenty of consultancies live here because the address works. Flexi desks exist; so do full floors. Year-two renewal is the number to ask for, not the launch promo.
JLT living is next door — see the JLT area page if the founder is moving with the company. Metro: DMCC / JLT stations on the Red Line.
Crypto and financial promotion still need VARA / DFSA where they apply. A DMCC trading licence is not a broker licence.
