Jebel Ali is why Dubai is a re-export city. If containers are the business, start here, not in a Business Bay tower. JAFZA companies live next to the port, the customs zone, and the truck roads south.

Light trading without stock can live cheaper elsewhere. JAFZA starts to make sense when you need a yard, a warehouse, or a factory. Dubai South and DAFZA are the other two names on that shortlist.

A JAFZA licence does not, by itself, let you run a high-street shop in Deira. Mainland retail is a different file.
