Attest before you fly if they asked
Degrees, marriage, birth — MOFA / embassy stacks. Police clearance from home if the role wants it.
If HR asked for an attested degree, do it at home. Doing it from Dubai is slower and more expensive. The chain is usually: notary / HRD, foreign ministry, UAE embassy, then MOFA in the UAE.
Some regulated jobs (nursing, teaching, engineering) add licensing (DHA, KHDA, etc.). That is a second queue. A police clearance certificate has an expiry. Do not get one six months early and hope.
