Private companies follow the federal list and may add a day if a holiday kisses a weekend. Eid dates can shift by a day when the moon is sighted. Do not book non-refundable flights on the first announced Eid evening.
Metro often runs long hours on big nights. Government desks close. Malls stay open. If you work hospitality or retail, a ‘holiday’ is a peak shift, not a beach day.
