Expo City Dubai is what happened after Expo 2020: pavilions, parks, offices, events halls and a free zone (Expo City Dubai Authority) on the south of the city. The metro station is still called Expo 2020. Dubai Exhibition Centre next door is expanding so the city can host more of the world’s large trade shows.
GITEX Global moves to those halls on 7–11 December 2026. World Health Expo and Gulfood already used the campus in 2026. If you work in tech, health, food or events, this is no longer ‘a long taxi’. It is the calendar.
