Rents in Sharjah undercut Dubai for the same size. You pay in time: Al Taawun, Nahda, the truck route. A tunnel under Al Taawun is meant to cut waits later (first phase talked for November 2026) — that is not this morning’s drive.
E-routes buses exist. A car is the usual pattern. Friday traffic differs from Sunday night. If your Dubai job starts at 08:00 in DIFC, do a trial commute on a Tuesday before you sign a Sharjah tenancy.
