Pets are a building rule, then a visa
Many towers ban dogs. Import rules are real. Do not assume the brochure pet park means your one-bed allows it.
Ask the building and the landlord in writing. A lot of apartments say no dogs; some allow cats. Villas and a few pet-friendly towers are the realistic path for a dog.
Bringing an animal in: vaccinations, microchip, import permit, possible quarantine depending on country. Do this before the crate is at check-in. Municipal licensing applies once you are here.
