Plus a salary letter. Digital banks are faster for some people. WPS salary transfer is a separate tick.
Traditional banks (ENBD, ADCB, Mashreq, FAB) typically want Emirates ID (or in-progress), passport, visa, and an employer letter. Some open a limited account while ID is printing. Take a local number.
Wio, Liv and similar are phone-first. They still run checks. Tell HR where to send the salary; WPS needs an IBAN they recognise. Do not pay ‘account opening agents’ who want your OTP.
