Service charge on a hotel bill is not the same as cash in a cafeteria.
Many restaurants already add 10% service. Look at the bill before you add another 10% on a card machine that defaults to yes. Cafeterias, karak stands and taxis: rounding up is polite, not a rule.
Hotel porters and valet often expect a few dirhams. Delivery apps already bake in fees — a small extra is optional. Nobody is entitled to a guilt tip on a bad meal.
