From the Netherlands: visa-free visit, Dutch tax still exists
Dutch passports get about 90 days visa-free. The 30% ruling and 183-day tests do not retire because Dubai has no wage tax.

The Netherlands is on the 90-day visa-free visit list. Ireland is the common EU exception at 30 days; a Dutch passport is not. Use the visit for interviews and viewings. Payroll starts after the employer’s work permit, medical and Emirates ID.
If you keep a huis, partner, or days in NL, Box 1/Box 3 and the 183-day story are still real. The 30% ruling only matters if you still have a Dutch employment story. Get that advice in writing before you resign.
Cycling culture does not survive Sheikh Zayed Road. Budget a car or a honest metro walk. Weekend may be Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday depending on the office. Full table: visa by nationality.
